At the Boscobel Library<br />Our Spring storytime and Summer Library Program schedules will be chock-full of fun activites for little ones and their parents. Stories, sing-a-longs, make believe, finger plays, costume parties and take home crafts will be offered. Registration isn't required, just bring the kids to the library reading room Wednesday morning and we'll do the rest! In April we'll be talking about Alexander McCall Smith's Kalahari Typing School For Men. Our book for May is Sue Monk Kidd's The Secret Life of Bees. We've recently learned (Thanks to Virginia and Carole!) that our library was designed by the Prairie School architectural firm of Claude and Starck. The firm was responsible for the design of63 Carnegie public libraries in Wisconsin. The construction of Carnegie public and academic librariesthroughout the midwest was fundedthrough the generosity of the industrialist Andrew Carnegie, to promoteliteracy. While construction of the Boscobel Library in 1926 was enabled by a gift from localbusinessman George F.
